About the role

DNB's Radical AI team builds and operates the internal AI platform used across the entire organisation. You'll own meaningful parts of this platform end-to-end: from daily operations and incident response through to new feature development and product decisions. The team is small and high-trust, with direct leadership support and real autonomy. You'll work across a diverse stack—Go and Python on the backend, TypeScript and Svelte on the frontend, and AWS infrastructure—shipping code that real users depend on every day.

What you'll do

You'll maintain and evolve production systems that matter. This means debugging issues in the field, refactoring legacy code to stay healthy, and building new capabilities without breaking what already works. You'll integrate with LLMs and AI APIs, making them reliable and accessible to internal teams through tools like our developer CLI (raicode), desktop assistant (RAIWork), and LLM gateway. You'll notice when systems are drifting or degrading and act on it proactively—not waiting to be asked. You'll make product decisions about what to build next, informed by real user needs and operational reality.

Who you are

You have 5–7+ years shipping production software, with a genuine track record of owning systems over time, not just building greenfield projects. You're comfortable moving between backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers without friction. You have hands-on experience working with LLMs or AI APIs in production—treating AI tooling as a natural part of your workflow, not a novelty.

You care that code works correctly for real users over time. You work independently and notice when something needs attention before it becomes a crisis. You take end-to-end ownership of what you ship.

Nice to have: You've maintained and extended non-trivial existing codebases, including refactoring and keeping systems healthy. You have strong opinions about developer experience and tooling—you build things you'd want to use yourself and can't leave friction unaddressed. You thrive in small, high-trust teams where the path from idea to production is short and your judgment carries real weight.

Why join

You'll work on infrastructure that shapes how an entire organisation uses AI. You'll have autonomy and direct support from leadership. The team is small enough that your work is visible and your decisions matter. You'll be based in Bjørvika, Oslo, working onsite with a team that values both technical depth and pragmatism.
