About the role

We're seeking an Investment Analyst to join our private equity team in Oslo. This is a full-time, on-site position offering hands-on involvement across the entire investment lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and conducting rigorous due diligence to building financial models and monitoring portfolio performance. You'll work directly with senior investment professionals on live deals and contribute meaningfully to investment decisions.

This role is open to candidates across the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland) who are willing to relocate to Oslo.

What you'll do

You'll take ownership of key responsibilities including:

  • Sourcing and screening potential investment targets and preparing initial investment theses
  • Building and stress-testing detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, comparable company analysis) to support investment decisions
  • Conducting comprehensive buy-side due diligence, including financial, operational, and market analysis
  • Preparing investment memoranda and supporting materials for investment committee presentations
  • Monitoring portfolio company performance and tracking KPIs post-acquisition
  • Supporting exit strategy development and execution

Who you are

You bring at least two years of professional experience in private equity, investment banking, or related financial advisory roles. You have demonstrated expertise in financial modelling within PE or M&A contexts and hands-on experience conducting buy-side due diligence.

You're analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex workstreams under tight deal timelines. You communicate financial insights clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Nice to have: Familiarity with Nordic or European deal flow and the regional PE landscape. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Fluency in Norwegian alongside English is a plus.

Why join

You'll gain deep exposure to real deal activity in a dynamic Nordic market. Working on-site means direct mentorship from experienced investors and the opportunity to build strong professional relationships. This role offers genuine career progression for someone ready to develop into a senior investment professional.

Competitive salary: 800,000–1,200,000 NOK based on experience. Relocation support is available.
