About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our onsite team in Oslo. You'll own the design of web products in a 0→1 context—the exciting, ambiguous phase where you're defining the user experience and interface from scratch rather than refining an existing product. This is a full-time, onsite role in a lean, startup-style environment where design decisions compound quickly and your work ships to real users within weeks, not quarters.
What you'll do
You'll lead the full design lifecycle for web products: from early concept exploration and user research through to polished, production-ready interfaces. You'll work closely with engineers and product managers to translate ideas into working prototypes and shipped features. You'll make high-stakes design decisions with incomplete information, validate assumptions through iteration, and adapt as priorities shift. You'll also set and maintain design quality standards as we scale, ensuring consistency and coherence across our product surface.
Expect to move fast. You'll be comfortable shipping work that's good enough to learn from, then improving it based on real user feedback. You'll operate with significant autonomy—identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving work forward without waiting for detailed briefs or close oversight.
Who you are
You've designed web products end-to-end, from early-stage concepts through to shipped, production-ready interfaces. You have hands-on experience in 0→1 product contexts, where you've defined UX and UI from the ground up rather than iterating on mature products. You thrive with high agency—you identify what needs to be done, make decisions independently, and push work forward without needing close management.
You have a track record in tech startups and are genuinely comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and shifting priorities. You see constraints as creative challenges, not obstacles.
Nice to have: You're proficient in Figma and use it as your primary design and prototyping tool. You've collaborated closely with engineers and product managers in small, cross-functional teams where communication is direct and feedback is immediate.
